Covid-19 Safety Measures
At Harbor City Dental your safety is our priority.
Our highly trained team of highly trained dental professionals follow infection prevention protocol as recommended by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). We will continue to follow the guidance of these agencies as we implement safety measures that are up to date with best health practices. Our goal is to protect our patients, our team, our families, and our community.
Some changes you may notice:
SCREENING - We screen all staff, patients, and caregivers.
We require all staff and patients with upcoming appointments to follow personal protection procedures.
RESCHEDULE - You will be asked to reschedule if you:
Have symptoms of COVID 19
Have a risk of exposure to COVID 19
Have not followed personal protection procedures for two weeks prior to your appointment
TELEDENTISTRY - Utilized at our discretion when screening reveals it is the best protocol
OFFICE VISITS AFTER REGULARLY SCHEDULED HOURS
Utilized at our discretion when needed for isolation of medium or high risk patients that require our services.
The fee for this service is $68 in addition to typical fees and may not be covered by your insurance.
TRAVEL - Low risk travel is possible. If you travel you must follow personal protection procedures.
FACE COVERINGS - We require a face covering to enter the building. We require patients to regularly wear masks in public places
MOBILE CHECK IN - You can call from your automobile on arrival and we will alert you when we are ready for you.
PATIENTS ONLY - Only scheduled patients or patient plus one critical caregiver, may enter the building. For example, a child with one parent.
WAITING ROOM - Please observe social distancing of 6 feet in our waiting room
HAND SANITIZER - Please sanitize on entering, before and after using our coffee bar and restroom, at the reception desk and whenever appropriate.
